Pet Pals Photography Competition

We are running a short photography competition for our 2024 calendar. This year we have decided to feature our beloved Furry (or feathered) Friends.

Many people say that their pet is their best pal, always by their side. We want to recognise how wonderful our Pet Pals are by featuring some of them in our 2024 calendar. There will be prizes awarded to the best entries so that you and your Pet Pal can celebrate in style.

We are looking for photos celebrating the wonderful bond between you and your pet. We want their personality to shine through and see the happiness that they bring to you and your family. Whether it is a dog, cat, rabbit, bird, reptile, hamster, or any type of pet, we want to see their portrait or candid moment.

Enter the Lucan District Credit Union amateur Pet Pals photography competition featuring a photo of your pet and be in with a chance to feature your pal in the 2024 calendar. You may also be in with a chance of winning some great prizes too!

• 1st prize €500 One4all voucher
• 2nd prize €250 One4all Voucher
• 3rd prize €100 One4all voucher

Any other photos selected from all entries for use in the calendar will receive a €50 One4All voucher.

Terms & Conditions of the 2024 Pet Pals Calendar photography competition:

1. Lucan District Credit Union Photography competition for our 2024 Calendar is open to amateur photographers only.

2. Theme : PET PALS

3. This competition is run solely by Lucan District Credit Union, 3, The Mall, Lucan, Co Dublin.

4. The winning entries will be notified by phone / email.

5. In submitting your entry to the competition, you give Lucan District Credit Union full permission to use your image in the Lucan District Credit Union 2024 calendar should your image be selected. This calendar will be distributed by Lucan District Credit Union to members and the wider community. You give Lucan District Credit Union full permission to use your image on Lucan District Credit Union Social media platforms, website and Advertisements in the Lucan Area (to include large format ads in Lucan district / press coverage / ads).

6. Closing Date will be Friday September 30th, 2023.

7. You may enter the competition if you live or work in Lucan or Adamstown. You do not need to be a member of the credit union.

8. Competition is open to all age categories.

9. Entries only to: help@lucancu.ie Only entries submitted by the correct channel will be entered in the competition. We will acknowledge entries by email receipt.

10. Images must be submitted using a high-resolution jpeg.

11. The prizes are One4All Vouchers

• €500.00 for 1st place
• €250.00 for 2nd place
• €100.00 for 3rd place.

Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

12. The image must be an original photograph submitted in its original state, it should not be altered in any way.

13. The photo submitted must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.

14. Entries will be judged by LUCAN DISTRICT CREDIT UNION and the decision of the judges will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
